The Active
Beginner class is meant to offer a range of appeal to those
with an active lifestyle who are beginning a yoga practice as well as those seeking to deepen their
understanding of foundational strength and breath. Classes are
physically challenging to all, with different variations of each
pose offered depending upon capability. Breath awareness,
basic postures, and muscle awareness are the three key
elements explored in these classes. Attendees are encouraged
to realize their personal limits in a safe and friendly
environment. |

|
|
A playground
for all levels of fitness and conditioning to explore a wide
spectrum of movement. Classes are rooted in classical posture
sequences with many new insights and an openness for questions.
There is a special emphasis on strength-building to create balance,
but there is always a variation that will fit where you are. |

Vinyasa
Flow |
|
|
|
|
This class
will warm you up with vinyasas. Beginners to Ashtanga are welcome
but basic experience with yoga postures is helpful. This class does
not adhere to the Primary Series sequence but instead uses the
process of a vinyasa practice to raise the pulse, connect movement
with breath, and balance mind and body. |
