Dr. John Song
was trained by Sichuan province Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and
it's affiliated hospital. He has practiced Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
since 1976.
Dr. Song came to America in 1981. Since 1982 Dr. Song has practiced Chinese
Medicine and Acupuncture at Yale Hospital, the Houston Wellness Center, and the
Chinese Healing Arts Institute - which he helped found in 1984. He is also a
joint founder of Sichuan Tai Ji Pharmaceutical (in China, 1992) and Herbal World
in 2000. He is now Honorable Professor of the Sichuan Province Institute of
Traditional Chinese Medicine and its hospital in China.
Also a Chi Gong and Tai Chi expert, he was the Instructor and one of the
founders of the Chi Gong Research Foundation in 1983. He taught Tai Chi at Rice
University in Houston, TX from 1983 to 1990. Dr. Song now enjoys sharing his
knowledge and healing experience with us in hopes that he can assist people in
helping themselves and each other.
*Dr. Song is accepting applications for modules he will teach in Tai Chi and Tai
Chi Push Hands (duration 12 weeks), Chi Gong (duration 6 weeks), and Theory of
Chinese Healing Method (duration 6 weeks). Certifications are available
for those who complete the modules they attend. Any who wish to
participate in one or more of the courses should send an essay
here describing motivation and background.
